It’s quite a few months since I completed my degree. I have settled into working from my home studio. Being part of the Ryedale Open Studios was a great success, I met lots of people and sold lots of ceramics. It’s all feeling very real now and I have finally got the energy to think about what I want to make and sell. I have visited today my “Wave” which is displayed at The Ryedale Folk Museum “In the Open” an exhibition exploring the impact of lockdown- what an exciting collection of talented artists.
Following a holiday to Northumberland and the Isle of Wight I am now working on new designs and ideas which I hope to be ready pre Christmas, especially concentrating on large platters, bowls, mugs and house ceramics. Garden ideas will return next Spring.
